Peshawar Literary Festival returns with skill-focused sessions

The third edition of the Peshawar Literary Festival is set to take place on April 20–21 at Nishtar Hall, bringing together writers, creators, and young learners for two days of interactive sessions and activities.
This year’s festival aims to provide participants with a diverse range of creative and technical skill-building opportunities. Organisers have planned multiple “skillshops” designed to equip young individuals with practical knowledge across various fields.
A key highlight of the event will be sessions on digital marketing, freelancing, and e-commerce. These workshops will cover topics such as online marketing and advertising, building freelancing profiles, and strategies for running successful e-commerce ventures.

The content creators segment will focus on storytelling techniques, planning and scripting, as well as content creation and distribution. Participants interested in visual arts will benefit from photography sessions covering camera basics, composition, lighting, and editing techniques.
In addition, the festival will feature an animation toolkit segment, where attendees can learn about idea development, character and environment design, and storyboarding. Another major component will be training in data tools, including Excel fundamentals, data cleaning and analysis, and visualisation techniques to improve efficiency.
Organisers say the festival is designed to serve as a dynamic platform for learning, creativity, and youth engagement. By combining literary discussions with hands-on technical training, the event seeks to bridge the gap between creative expression and practical skills.
The Peshawar Literary Festival continues to grow as a hub for intellectual and creative exchange, attracting participants from across the region. Further details regarding speakers and sessions are expected to be announced soon.
